Design Highlights
This ADU was designed to maximize the use of an existing garage shell without expanding its footprint — creating a private, energy-efficient dwelling unit within tight city regulations. Strategic placement of windows allows for natural light and privacy, while the floor plan offers complete separation between public and private areas.
All systems are designed to comply with Title 24 and CALGreen standards. Downspouts are integrated with area drains and a backyard cistern to manage stormwater sustainably. No methane, soils, or survey reports were required — expediting permitting and keeping construction costs low.
